Get Orbit HR for your device

Orbit HR is free to download. Install it, then activate with your license key: one license covers every platform, with unlimited employees and no per-employee fee. Available now for macOS (Intel and Apple silicon) and Windows 10 and 11. Buy a license.

Mac opens normally; Windows asks once. On macOS, Orbit HR is signed and notarized by Apple. On Windows the installer is not yet code-signed, so Windows shows a one-time warning. It's safe. The install guide below shows the exact steps, or message us on WhatsApp.

Installing

How to install

Orbit HR is safe. The Mac app is notarized by Apple and opens like any Mac app. On Windows, the one-time prompt below appears only because the installer isn't code-signed yet (a certificate we're adding), not because anything is wrong. Your employee data never leaves your device.

Intel and Apple silicon · macOS 11+

macOS

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg and drag Orbit HR into your Applications folder.
  2. Open it from Applications. The first time, macOS asks whether to open an app downloaded from the internet: click Open. It opens normally from then on.
Signed and notarized by Apple, so no security workaround is needed.

Windows 10 & 11 · 64-bit

Windows

  1. Run the downloaded .exe installer.
  2. If you see the blue “Windows protected your PC” screen, click More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Follow the installer prompts. Orbit HR opens when it finishes.
The installer puts Orbit HR in your Start menu and on your desktop.

After installing, open Orbit HR and paste your license key to activate. Don't have one yet? It's a one-time purchase covering unlimited employees. Grab a license and you're set.
